Nitish Barole is a Development & Humanitarian Professional from India and the founder of Youth for Resilience. For more than a decade, he has been working on Youth leadership & peacebuilding at the community and national levels. He is a founding member of the Coexister Global Interfaith Youth Movement and serves as India country head.
He has been contributing to building resilience through disaster education, community work and capacity
development of individuals, youth-led organizations, public officials, and UN agencies. He has been working with several organizations, networks, and government agencies such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), Universal Solidarity Movement (USM), National Peace Movement, RAWS India and several grassroots organizations.
